Custom Poster Stands for Large Format Display

Floor-standing, wall-mounted, or sidewalk A-frame. Display your message where people stop and look.

A poster stand that looks cheap undermines the message it carries. Wall thickness, base weight, weld quality — the details that make it look professional instead of improvised.

SOONXIN customizes end-to-end — material, finish, logo process, and size. Freely combinable across floor billboards and A-frame sidewalk signs. Every order goes through the same engineering review, production QC, and packaging plan.

Material and Finish

Material

  • Cold-rolled steel. The standard choice — strong, durable, cost-effective for indoor and outdoor use. Go with this if you're not sure yet.
  • Stainless steel. For premium retail, food service, or anywhere corrosion is a concern. Naturally resistant without extra treatment.
  • Aluminum. When portability matters. Lighter and easier to move, less rigid than steel, simpler to transport.
  • Brass. For premium hospitality and luxury brands. Warm gold tone that ages well indoors.

Finish

  • Powder coated. Black, White, Matte Silver, Matte Black. The workhorse finish — durable, consistent, indoor and outdoor.
  • Brushed or matte. Silver, Gold, Rose Gold. Understated. The kind of finish that doesn't compete with what you're displaying.
  • Polished or mirror. Silver, Gold, Rose Gold. High shine. Use it when the stand itself needs to be part of the statement.
  • Titanium finish. Darker grey, premium tone. When you want the stand to feel like it belongs with higher-end installations.

Outdoor vs indoor

  • Stainless steel or powder-coated steel work outdoors.
  • Brass is indoor only — premium hospitality where it earns its keep.
  • Aluminum handles indoor portability fine. High-wind outdoor use is not its strong suit.

Form and Size

  • Standard sizes: 22×28, 24×36, 27×40 (movie one-sheet), A1, A0. Works for most standard poster formats.
  • Heights: 35″–70″ floor-standing. Low enough to read from standing, tall enough to be seen from across the room. Adjustable if the same stand needs to work at different heights.
  • Telescopic poles: Adjust from 35″ to 69″ on the same stand — useful when one stand serves different campaigns or different rooms.
  • Folding A-frame: Collapses flat for transport, sets up in seconds on the sidewalk. Common for promotions, seasonal sales, or anywhere you need to bring the sign outside.
  • Wheeled bases: Move the stand between locations without lifting — useful for retail floors, event halls, or anywhere the stand gets relocated regularly.
  • Double-sided frames: Two posters visible from opposite directions. Makes sense for aisles, crossroads, or anywhere foot traffic comes from more than one direction.
  • Custom sizes: Don't see your dimension? Send your target and we'll engineer it.

Where They're Used

  • Restaurants and cafés: Menu stands on tables, daily specials, counter boards. Where the stand needs to survive the rush and still look good.
  • Retail chain stores: Floor displays, storefront signage, end-caps, in-store wayfinding. High foot traffic, rotation, and frequent changes.
  • Trade shows and exhibitions: Booth banners, product launch displays, exhibition signage. When your stand needs to work as hard as your booth does.
  • Hotels, cinemas, shopping malls: Lobby displays, event signage, wayfinding, ticket counters. Large-format, professional finish, consistent across locations.
  • Brand activations and pop-ups: Temporary signage for product launches, road shows, event branding. When you need to set up fast and break down clean.
  • Sports clubs and fitness centers: Block signage, member information, event announcements. Where signage needs to be readable mid-workout.
  • Property sales centers: Large-format billboards, floor plan displays. High-impact, professional, built for foot traffic.

Installation, Portability, and Reuse

  • Easy assembly: Comes apart with basic tools, no professional installer required. Set it up once and leave it, or fold it down between events.
  • Telescopic poles: Adjustable height from 35″ to 69″ on the same stand — useful when the same display needs to work in different rooms or for different campaigns.
  • Folding A-frame: Collapses flat for transport, sets up in seconds on the sidewalk. Common for promotions, seasonal sales, or anywhere you need to bring the sign outside and take it back in.
  • Wheeled bases: Move the stand between locations without lifting. Useful for retail floors, event halls, or anywhere the stand gets relocated regularly.
  • Floor protection: Foam-rubber shock absorption on the base — protects floor surfaces from scratches and reduces noise when the stand gets bumped.
  • Top-loading frames: Replace posters from the top without removing the frame from the wall or stand. Faster updates, fewer tools.
  • Double-sided display: Two posters visible from opposite directions. Makes sense for aisles, crossroads, or anywhere foot traffic comes from more than one direction.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

General

What's the difference between stainless steel, cold-rolled steel, and aluminum?
Stainless steel is the most durable and corrosion-resistant — best for outdoor and food service, at a higher cost. Cold-rolled steel is strong and cost-effective, ideal for indoor and most outdoor retail, and takes powder coat well. Aluminum is the lightest weight and easiest to transport, but less rigid and not recommended for high-wind outdoor or heavy-duty use. Brass is reserved for premium hospitality, indoor only. For most restaurant and retail uses, cold-rolled steel with powder coating is the most cost-effective choice.
Can the stand work outdoors?
Yes for stainless steel and powder-coated steel models. Brass and aluminum are recommended for indoor only. For outdoor use we recommend a heavier base or ground anchoring in high-wind locations — we can advise based on your specific environment.
Will the stand tip over in a busy store or on a windy sidewalk?
Floor stands use bases from 6–24″ wide depending on frame size for tip resistance. Folding A-frame sidewalk models include anti-slip feet and optional ground anchoring. Anti-slip pads and weighted base upgrades are available on request.
How long does assembly take? Do I need a professional installer?
No professional installer required. Most floor-standing models connect the base and frame via screws and can be assembled by one person in 5–15 minutes with basic tools. Telescopic and folding models include printed instructions; we can supply a video walk-through on request.

Customization

Can I print my own logo on the stand?
Yes. Send your artwork in AI, PDF, or CDR (or high-resolution PNG, 300 DPI or above). For multi-color logos, UV printing is recommended. For solid color logos, silk screen or laser engraving works well. For a premium etched look, we recommend etching on stainless steel or brass. We'll suggest the best fit based on your design and chosen material.
Can I customize the size?
Yes. We make to your target dimensions. We've produced floor-standing stands from 11″ × 8.6″ frames up to 53″ × 23.4″ enclosed billboards. Heights range from 35″ (counter-height floor unit) to 70″ (floor). Send your target dimensions and we'll quote.
What finishes and colors are available?
In-stock finishes: powder coated (Black, White, Matte Silver, Matte Black), brushed / matte (Silver, Gold, Rose Gold), polished / mirror (Silver, Gold, Rose Gold), titanium. Custom RAL color matching is available above the MOQ threshold (typically 100+ pieces). Brass and gold tones are typically indoor premium use; stainless steel and powder-coated black work for outdoor.
Do you make custom shapes?
Yes. Send a sketch, drawing, or sample photo — our engineering team will evaluate and quote.
Can I see a digital mockup before production?
Yes. We send a digital mockup for your approval before any custom build goes to production, so you can see how the logo, color, and finish combine on your chosen model.
Can you print the posters too, or just the stand?
We can supply both — the stand and the printed insert. Send us your poster artwork and target paper / print spec (paper type, single or double sided, lamination), and we'll quote a stand + print bundle. Common specs: couché mat or glossy paper, single or quadri color, single or double sided, with optional matte or gloss lamination.

Can I get a sample before placing the bulk order?
Yes. Sample fees apply based on the process and customization; fees are deductible from your bulk order once confirmed.
